Block Buddy has managed this development since January 2023. The development is in a quiet location and includes 12 apartments.
As well as managing large developments, we place equal importance on the smaller developments, such as this one.
There is a real sense of community within the development and we actively encourage this. Residents meetings are held each year to discuss key points. In addition, the leaseholders often discuss matters informally amongst themselves, thanks to the sense of community.
Block Buddy supports this community spirit and actively encourages it across all of our developments. Communal living can be really rewarding but it can also be quite frustrating at times and so to have a positive community spirit really helps.
The management company was previously self-managing this development and approached us to help them with the parts of property management that can be problematic when self-managing.
Over time, we have assumed full management duties and the development is well maintained and the leaseholders are happy.
The original windows have started to deteriorate and so we have introduced a rolling programme of window replacement across both blocks. The management company wishes to maintain standards and protect their investments and the new windows are a key part in doing both.
